Community Life Center
Rita Little Boy was an educated woman who was an advocate for children and education. According to those who knew her, she had a kind heart and was very much a woman of the community.
The Community Life Center, to be located in the Porcupine District of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota, will be dedicated to her memory and vision of aiding in the preservation of Traditional Lakota Ways. The Center will be a place of education, community, celebration, respite and personal empowerment.
